Agorfa

Helping people access the private rented sector is an important part of the jig-saw of services needed to tackle and prevent homelessness. Agorfa is an independent charity which was established in 1998. The organization operates throughout Mon and Gwynedd, holding outreach sessions in all the major towns across the countries.
The scheme is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government through Section 180 and supporting People Revenue Grant.

Agorfa provides a service to people who:

Are in receipt of benefits or on a low income and are in financial need. Are unable to access accommodation without assistance Are homeless, threatened with homelessness, or in housing need. Have the ability to live independently or can access the support services that they need in order to live independently, (provided either by Agorfa or another organization)
